Waooo...Mike...I am really touched by the beauty of the photo and the dedication.....I am a very emotional personal...and this picture means a lot to me....Sorry I am late commenting...I just got home....busy working...and this has been an excellent beautiful surprise.....I know the out of focus is intentional and I like it because it adds depth to the picture.....The reds are superb....I find red very difficult to work...but you did an excellent job with the shadows and Higlights...and as Gary said the gray leaves provide a great contrast to the flowers....I will find one to dedicate to you in the near future.
Thansk again....this means a lot to me....I am adding this to my favorite artworks List...

This is looooooovely!

I love the contrast between the roses and the leaves. For some reason this reminds me of that anime Cowboy Bebop. Lol. I love the details and colours that have been picked up- I agree more focus on the second rose would be good, but it's not taking away from the picture, in my opinion. As Arne so nicely put things......
