This I took a while ago. I decided to post it because...well Morre really wanted me to! ^^

Hope you enjoy it

I just used an overhead flourecent and a flash rian. Then went in and increased the darkness of the shadows to give it contrast.

[UPDATE] Want to thank everyone who has taken time to check this out. Wanna thank Michelle and the others for pointing out the spec. I fixed it for you guys!

Nice concept. Howd you light it. A bit blurry I dont know if I would have liked to see all the nails in focus or the way you have it now. As is nice DOF and good concept.

Very cool and excellently timed! How many shots did it take you to get this? Black and white suits it perfectly. I'd have preferred the left nail a bit less blurry but that's just personal opinion.

Wonderful shot! Would've been a tad nicer if there was a clear point of focus, but hey, who can tell what you'll get when you're throwing nails around? Keep up the good work!

I like the idea very much although I think it could be done technically better. I mean mostly the sharpness, if it's intentional that the focus is on the second nail than it's ok.

Great idea Mike. You are full of wonderful ideas. You never cease to amaze me with them. This is very well executed. I like the DOF, B&W, shadows, and lighting. One minor crit which is a small white speck in the photo. You can easily remove it in PS.
